a. I sit on the Nominations & Remuneration Committees (NRC) of the Board of Directors of Corporations. The two key roles of the NRC are to:

    • “hire” and/or “fire” CEO’s (Nomination), and
    • determine how & how much should the CEO be paid (Remuneration)?

c. Toxic Leadership, including but not limited to abusive supervision, manipulation & inflexibility

5. What are some Tips & Tricks to stay on the Fast Track?

a. Consistently exceed expectations (deliver more) and increase visibility (make your achievements known); you have to “perform” and be “seen to be performing”.

b. Build a strong internal network and seek out mentors who can guide you at work.

c. Invest in continuous learning, ongoing education and skill enhancement.
